Situation: I have a resin sword for a 120mm knight. Unfortunately, the sword is bent. Try as I might I can't get the sword to straighten out. I've even left it two weeks taped over a jughandle to try and train it back to straight. It straigtens for a few hours then starts to bend back to it's normal, crooked way. It's only bent about 10-15 degrees but when it's a sword, that's alot.
So...does anyone know how to straighten resin? I've thought about warming it over a candle but I'm not sure resin would react the same as plastic.
Thanks in advance.

Dot'y use a flame. Warm-hotish water will soften it, and a guick cooling should help get rid of its' memory. A hair-drier in place of the water works also.

Just wanted to drop a note to say that the hairdryer idea worked like a charm. Hairdryer right into an ice water bath.
