I added the link so it can be accessed directly for ya.
2 lovely models StukeSowle. Im not a modern armor fan but I love the S tank. I have seen the quite a few pictures of them recently, and they are pretty dark green. Also the Swedes tend to look after their vehicles well, so dont go to heavy with the weathering!
Looking forward to seeing them finished!

I would love to see them, but all I get is a "No such message" error.

Its a copy and paste error...

After taking away the rubbish on the end I saw some great work!!! I think I'm going to have to try the painting dark effect!! Many seem to like it and it saves on having to go through the painstaking task of highlighting with a darker color!!

Looks great!!

Had this done for me, so I shall return the favor. Nice work! It looks as though you did the seam/edge shading thing....is that correct? At any rate, please explain what you did to get those lighter middle panel areas.

Thanks!

Here are the pics:

Thanks for the comments guys. Sorry the link didn't work quite right, I can't ever seem to get it to work on this site.

As for the shading technique on the S-Tank. I used a basecoat of Tamiya Gray with a bit of Dark Green thrown in. The instructions call for Gray, which just didn't seem quite right to me. I then lightened the basecoat with some white and applied this in a "cloud" pattern to the center of panels other raised areas. Some refer to it as the "pre-shade" technique. It has worked well for me so far. I don't really have a steady enough hand for the "post-shade" technique, but with my new Iwata HP-C, I may have to give it another run.

I will probably weather the S-Tank lightly as advised, but I am hoping to muck up the Marder pretty well.

Arggggggg....Hey StukeSowle, what happened to the images? When I linked them they posted fine, but now they're gone. You didn't remove them from whatever site you had them posted on did you?

I'm not sure what happened to them. I didn't remove them on purpose....ahh you gotta love computers!

I will have to see what happened when I get back home tonight. Sorry y'all for the mess.
