I was wondering what color to paint my Trumpete AS-90 for modern day Iraq. I have some modern US armor sand and some lighter sand that matches the base color of US desert uniforms for 2003. I was looking at some pictures of British armor in Iraq and it looks like it may be a little browner than US armor. So, how do I mix the correct color?

Pasted in from a thread back in December......
The British Army changed its desert colour completely between Op Granby (1991) and Telic (2003).
The MM Gulf Armor Stone colour represents the 1991 shade, not the vivid yellow of 2003 (of course there were a wide variety of 'sand' shades on other vehicles as always). The Osprey Modelling book on the Challenger suggests the following mixes using Tamiya paints
Op Granby (1991) XF59 x 4 + XF57 x 1 + XF19 x 1
Op Telic (2003) XF60 x 3 + XF3 x 1

IIRC Xtracolour do the Op Granby colour too.

As David says, look for Op Telic (or for 1st GW, Op Granby)... Not OIF. This might save some fruitless searches.
