On This site you can see how to build an effective house from cardboard. It does work with some extra care and effeort. I have built one some time ago and was quite happy with the results. But I feel there are better methods like casting from hardwall and then scribing for example.

I have used card-board before but didn't get the results I was looking for. Probably my best results for a small, heavily damaged builing was obtained by using scrap wood from an old dresser drawer I found in the trash. I drew the shape on the wood then cut it out with my dremel tool, covered it with spackle, weathered it heavily, and come out with good results. :-)

I am with Plasticbattle on this one. Casting wall fragments is a lot better than trying to make them out of cardboard.

I always use the blue styrofoam for making my own structures as houses, walls and that kinda stuff
