Ok guys im finally done with this bad boy! I know the Rivet Review Board is for work in progresses, but I still want to get a few reviews of my final product. Do you guys think that I should add/subtract anything to this armored car? Also would they have used this armorerd car in italy? Ok thanks, please if you view this leave a message :-) Ok enjoy the pictures! I know two of them are kinda blurry, sorry for that
Hi Andrew ...Nice job on your 222 ...You can't really use it as is for an Italian front dio because you put decals from the Grossdeuchland(or however you spell it ) Division on your model..This Division spent most of the war on the Eastern front other than being refitted in france ... These are things you'll get used to as you go along .. Also in Italy in 1943 most vehicles were painted in dark yellow ...or desert sand ...but it looks fine for an Eastern front scene. Keep up the good work.
Rick p.s. Sorry for being a party pooper but rather know now before you start than when a judge says no way at a show...(former dio judge here !) have fun with it!

If i wanted to make this an eastern front dio, would they have attempted a "sloppy" field camo job of flat white, on top of the german grey base color? thanks man!
Andrewss, one thing that is important is you get more direct light onto your vehicle as it is very hard to see the deatil from the pictures. Which is a pity as I love this little vehicle! I can see in places you have used a green camo. This has not been used very commonly among modellers but I like it. The toe-rope on the front looks good and it looks like rust on the bumper ...... But after that it is hard to see anything clearly. Are you gonna add this into a dio? Maybe the wheels could do with a little weathering, but if adding into a dio, maybe its better to wait and addthe same weathering as the groundwork! Good luck anyway.

Nice little build...How long have you been modelling? The best thing I could suggest at this point would be to add a little (or alot) of weathering, add mud / snow / rust etc... There are numerous threads here on this site to help with that. Well done though! I like...

Hi Andrew ...you can go wild with the weathering on the Eastern front. Summers were hot and dusty ,fall was wet and muddy, winters were freezing .Spring was wet and gooey..Just pick a time period and go for it...Just make sure your where the Grossdeuchland Division was at the time you choose ...Have fun !!
