Very nice job.
On of these days I'll have to build one of those, as I've always liked the look of the vehicle.

Beautiful work and nice camo scheme!
Which colours did you use? I need these info for my forthcoming Spae.Pz.2 Luchs which will wear a similar scheme...
The weathering is great, did you follow the technique shown on the IPMS Stockholm site?

I agree with the crew. Nice painting and weathering.

I believe the "jarry cans" come in (only) black or tan. They're plastic and usually arn't painted.

Good job! Especially on the nice and "faded in" weathering.

Thanks for sharing.

My first thought when I saw the pictures was "Wow, that looks just like mine did back in '88..." The only nitpicky details are that we never had the 25mm barrels painted, they were a gunmetal color, and the area of the hull under the exhaust pipe always got a little "sooty" patch pretty quickly. After about a month, it wouldn't wash off
The jerry cans are fine. Ours were either tan or OD, never saw any black ones, maybe those were a later issue? The cool thing is that when the LAVs were new, the OD strap that holds them onto the brackets was really the same color as the OD jerry cans, so Mr. Yee has it exactly right (at least for early-issue LAVs). Unless my memories fail me, the camo looks just like early-issue LAVs as well (pre-ODS, we unwrapped them in 1988).

But to Yee Sun Tuck: Very well done, it gave me some good memories and makes me want to build my Trumpeter LAV

Very nice build. I very much like the faded paint.
Like other modelers, your model gives me the will to build one when ... I have time
And i hope someone will bring a MG for the Trumpeter kit. It is really weird they missed this so obvious detail.
