The Korean manufacturer, Legend Productions, have just announced three new, 1/35th scale Conversion/Update sets. All are interesting subjects but perhaps the most needed has been the Firefly Stowage set which will be VERY welcome for modellers of British/Commonwealth AFVs. The full story and images of all the new releases can be seen:

Too bad LF 1144 the storage for the FireFly is not available yet. I tried Squadron, HobbyLink Japan and Lucky Models without success.

Haha me too but it'll probably be in soon enough then I can order it and have it sit in my stash for a couple of months before I use it
I don't recall seeing stowage slung along the side of Fireflies or any Shermans in NWE but I'm sure it will come in useful anyway.

Pat-- I agree with your observation that the stowage shown might not be for NWE. However, my slow mind has the side mounted stowage going on the Crusader which I will build someday. I just received from Lucky Models the two Legend sandbag sets for the Shermans. Absolutely superb in both detail and fit. While I will be the first to criticize Legend for their interior sets, the sandbags in question are beautifully detailed. Lucky Models had the best price for the items plus shipping was free. I trust the FireFly will be of the same quality.

One of the strengths of this set is that it's NOT simply for Fireflys using those sections of track (until DML start selling it seperately) means that Polish M4a1s and M4a2s will just be a little easier...

Jim-- I agree. What I am pleased to see is the amount of these type items out of Legend. Like I said before, the Sherman sandbag sets are excellent. Wonder when this one will be on the street?
thanks

DJ, I think they just announced it a couple of days ago so hopefully we should see some of this stuff in the shops in another month or so.

That storage set looks really great. More things for British tanks are always welcome. Thanks for the heads up.
