The Jaguer tracks are not correct, same problem as the kit tracks, no rubber pads, just a depression were the pads should be

Those Jaguar tracks will be near on impossible to find. Jaguar still lists stuff even though most of it is discontinued. You can give them a try but they usually take a while to get back and it really is hit n miss, not sure whats happening with them.
After all the effort of trying to find the Jaguar tracks and probabaly paying a lot for them anyway, you might aswell get the Fruil tracks which look superb and are highly accurate.

I should have added that I could not vouch for their accuracy... Thanks for the warning !

After painting the kits tracks, just add a drop of liquid gasket in each depression, press it flat and let it cure.

It's an automotive (1:1 scale) item. Try your local NAPA, Auto Zone, etc...
It comes in a tube. Sorta reminds me of decorative icing.

Liquid Gasket, aka Instant Gasket is a liquid sealant in a tube that turns to rubber when dry. Just about every shop / store that sells anything to do with cars or engines stocks it.
It is applied on one surface of two (usually metal) surfaces and when dry, becomes... Tada!... A gasket.

Mikeo and Murdo nailed it. The cool thing is, if you prepaint the track like I said, you can drybrush steel on the portions around the pads. After you apply the pads, you'll get a very realistic look of the track when the pads are worn. Also, you can use your fingernail or other object to put scratches in the pads before they're fully cured, or take out small chunks with the point of a knife. This is less time consuming, and in some ways more realistic than the Fruils, save for the proper sag, which you can replicate other ways.
