Aren't the last two photos of a different vehicle? Like a Jagdpanzer IV or something? Nice job though.

Very nice model Dave! I like the weatering... but I think it's to much carbon on the front of the first tank.

Think what one can do from a box with plastic in it!

Well again this evil twin I knew IT!! A twin Bro.
Darn nice job Dave great photos really. Zim by hand HMM. So how long had you modeled before you stopped ? Any hints on using this tool Dave mine finally got here yesterday, did you use the 2 part Tamiya Polyester Putty?
And a Big thanks for sharing these Photos with me

That Hunting Tiger looks really killer dude!!
Oh by the way I have found a Panzer IV L 48 like you suggested around $22.50 some guy lost job and had to sell his collection off so local store well not to local 20 miles from here put them out for sale a lot of plane kits and not to bad a selection of Tanks neither. Picked up a few things got a set of verlinden figures 80's Amercian tank crew with added bonus of 3 russian tankers for 6 bucks. Even had that thing for updating the Nashorn . He has started a lot of these kits but not to bad most are still in bags sorry to see it happen but he has moved to Florida to get another job so I guess oh well.

Thanks again Dave

Field Marshall,

I found the tamiya zimmerit tool easy to use, but the key is always have a plate of thinner near by, because after a few sessions, the teeth got all putty up, so you want to clean it before you go on. I actually enjoy doing zimmerit by hand, I think it gives the tank a more unique outlook and unevenness than using most of the after market stuff.

I was modelling from 11 till 17 I think, but basicly building everything ranged from planes, to tank, to car, to sailship. took the hobby up again last year.

Sounds like great deal you got for the Pz IV L/48. I cannot even get them so cheap in HK. Now you need to find the L/70 and L/70 (A) to complete the circle. #:-)

Field Marshall,

You should take the L/70. It's great great deal. I recently acquired one and paid prime money for it. If you don't want it, I will take it off your hand with pleasure.

I am glad that I think both those beasts are so ugly 'cause after seeing what you've done with them almost makes me want to go out and buy them. Post me some pictures of King Tigers, I bet you have at least 1 of those handsome critters in your stable.

Dave, you've done it again :-) Churned out 2 more fine looking models :-)

I've been put off trying zimmerit, but maybe if you give me a quick lesson......

Seriously, they both look really good, you have one of those fluvian workhouses over there don't you, the sam as Holdfast #:-)

Roger

PS. Evil twin, mmmmm, that must be the one who is neglecting his duties, I knew she was telling me the truth. #:-) #:-) #:-) :-)
