OK everyone, this campaign is now official with a start date of June 1st ending December 31st.
So lets go with those vehicles that are under new management.

Please feel free to announce your participation here with some details of what your going to be building and a few pics if possible but feel free to start your own WIP thread too to show it in more detail.

The gallery is open and ready to accept your pics.

I myself intend to do a couple of builds, the first will be a Kettenkrad in US Military Police markings, and the second, well, we'll have to see, I have one or two idea bubbling....

Thanks again for the campaign idea Mark. This should be a cool one. As I have said before.......I love captured equipment!!

I will be building a captured US M8 armored car being used by the Germans.

I ordered a Tamiya M8 armored car for this campaign so I should be all set when the start date gets here.

I'm going to build a Char B1 in German hands, the flammenwerfer version to be exact. The Tamiya kit and Blast's conversion set are just waiting to pop out of the box!

Good to see you Q, ficticious they may be, but they are not outside the realms of possibillity, i remember reading somewhere about a US supply column getting captured so who can say it never happened.

I would like to build a BT-42. The BT-42 was a BT tank captured by the Finnish from the Russians and later used against the Russians. However, it was modified with a howitzer in the turret instead of the Russian gun.

Would this qualify even though the captured tank was modified before being used against its former owners?

Thats perfect Jesper, modifications to the base vehicle are acceptable as this was a common occurence, eg with KV1 being fitted with a german 75mm gun from a Panzer IV along with a load of other "germanizations", as long as the original vehicle is still identifiable then its good to go.

Great choice HARV and welcome aboard, your not the only one with an addiction to captured equipment, I too have a thing for the out of the ordinary and unusual. If I had the time I could turn out at least half a dozen beutepanzers for this campaign alone!
