Well, finally got around to taking some photos of the Stuart I'm currently working on. It looks like I might actually have it finished by the weekend (Yay!). Couldn't really get much detail, but here's how it looks up to this point

Still a few things left to do, but going smoothly... All comments are welcome!

Gunner:

Keep it going pal, this is going to be a neat dio. I've got one of the M5's and its a favorite.

Hopefully your next pics can get a little closer as I'd really like to see your work close-up:-) :-) . Thanks.

thanks guys... Dmd, yep it's Tamiya... Kinda gave me some grief with the fit of a few things, especially the turret plates and the sandguards, which is why I'm leaving them off; Better to show the running gear without them, even though they will be wearing a liberal amount of mud...

WWH- The finished photos will be much better; I only had a digital cam to work with (@$#^! low resolution POS) but I'll post the next ones using my good 35mm camera; I get impatient waiting for the film to get developed...

Other kit pics soon to follow!

Not bad gunner, you gonna do this as abandoned? Or is this part of something bigger?
Like the muddy apperance.

Cool tank and this has the makings of a lovely dio. Maybe its worth it to show these fotos with the digicam from each stage and then save the good pictures for the final product! I think its as exciting seeing models and dios in each stage ... up to finishing!

Looking fantastic GK19, I especially like the dio base, you scratched it?

Dave... Yep, cut down a piece of wall insulation and covered it with spackle... actually, the Stuart isnt part of the dio the base is from, but that could change...

Shermanfreak, I'm using the kit tracks... Not a lot of AM stuff available around my parts; 'Course, I just got the new Squadron catalog in the mail today and haven't looked thru it yet. T hat's the thing I like about modeling...Don't like something you did? just redo it!
