Sander:
Nice looking Jumbo! :-) :-) :-) How did you do your mud?---its looks very authentic.
A figure would certainly look good in the turret hatch, (if you have one).
Your canvas on the rear deck is well done as are the tracks. Keep it up, and thanks for the pics.

Nice muddy tank you have there my friend.
Coffee, whel that must give a nice small for a while, lekker bakkie !! :-)
gunnerk19, Allied tanktroops (mostly US) found out the hard way that after D-day the white stars where perfect tageting spots for the Germans, the tank was green and moslty camouflaged but in the boccage the stars where so visible that the german tankkillers could spot them from far, that is why a lot of tankers painted over there star markings

That's a nice muddy tank.... if I didn't know any better I would say he joined the muddy roads during the operation barbarossa... Just kiddin' here.
I like it. And about that star...Ronny thanks I didn't know that, but it sounds like logical to me. I bet ShermanSam knew it, and therefore.....Great eye for detail !
Keep up the good work.

roadkill,
thanks for the explanation,
i saw it on a pic .
and i dislike the decals come with the kit.
the pics of the jumbo are from 2/3 weeks ago,
at this time i have put 2 verlinden tankcrew figures on it
the tarp is made of aluminium folie coverd with a tisue.
why aluminium? it is easy to set .
if i have pics of the complete one, i let you know it.
greets Sander

It's a beauty ShermanSam
The mud looks good, very convincing. For a while I thought you had used real mud. (A favorite trick of mine is to mix mud with white glue amd earth tone paints to get that clumpy mud effect.)
Very nice work indeed
Looking forward to any pics you may have with the figures

Sander,
Great Job! She sure is beautiful (even though she needs a good bath :-)). What did you do for the stowage covered by the tarp on the back? It looks really good.

Adam,
do you mean under the tarp?
the tarp is made of aluminium folie coverd with a tisue.
why aluminium? it is easy to set .
there is no storage under it just folie, put in the right place
if you don not mean this, i think i don not understand the question
could you explane it a bit more?

Sander,
You answered my question mostly. It looks like the tarp is covering something. Is it really covering something (i.e. boxes, jerrycans, etc.) or is it just a tarp lying on the tank?
Thanks.
