Pity, as it would have been better to have something closer to the Saumur exhibit shown on the box.

I don't see it. What is wrong with the contents? It looks like parts for a T-34/76 to me.

Different turrets, the boxart tank has an early turret, kits parts are for the larger later 'hex' type.

Hi David
I guess you should not judge too hard until you see the final boxart. This is a "new" item (for Revell) and they often use pictures of real things to make up such preliminary "box arts" ... I think the inscription is right, but I have not much knowledge in "thingies with tracks".
just my 2 Euro cent
best wishes
Steffen

Hi Steffen
You're probably right, the strange thing is that the same thing happened with the mocked-up boxart for the Zvezda original, back in the 90s. My hopes for an interlocked hull were dashed then too...

The kit's sprues are correct for a T-34/76 Model 1943.
The box art shows a T-34/76 Model 1941.
Zvesda produce both kits, the Model 43 was re boxed and released by Italeri a few years ago.
Not as nicely molded as the DML or even the ancient Tamiya kits but cheaper.
Someone at Revell Germany screwed up, what's the kit going for in Europe?
Cheers
