Interesting, It looks like they scaled down some of their 1/35th figures.

There is only two kinds of fires. Those that use less than 500 gallons of water too extinguish and those that use WAY MORE!

The guy on the far left is from the Dragon Wagon, in front of him is the fig from the M8 HMC. The guy way back is the BAR gunner from the US COmbat group, the guy on the far right is from the DW, I believe.
The guy you list as from US W European Infantry is from the US Combat group, too. He's the dude carrying the M1A1 Thompson
This is the same thing they've done w/other 1/48 figure sets. I'm gonna like the Willys MB in a big way, though!

I think Brian is right about the figures he lists, the guy with the Thompson is from west european infantry not from the combat group set which is mostly seated guys.
Roy you are right that the guy on the left is from the dragon wagon kit, but the guy on the right is also from the same kit. The others though i'm afraid I can't help you with!

The guy with the cap on is from their latest 1/35 deuce and a half release, the red ball express one and the guy in the jeep is their original jeep driver. That jeep sure looks interesting. Nick

All Tamiya's 1/48 scale figure sets are scaled down versions of various figures from 1/35 scale kits/sets, there may be a few that arent but all the ones ive seen have been. The Russian figure set is a mix if scaled down figs from the assualt infantry, the really old Russian 4 figure set and the tank crew.

This would be a great new stuff for me if I wasnt so disappointed in Tamiya 1/48 figures on account of their small size. I have various figures in 1/48 & Tamiya cant be matched with any of them. The best figures (injected not resin ones), are ground crew from ICM, Amazing details & good size.

All the figues I have seen to date in 1/48 scale have been scaled down versions of various 1/35 offerings. Usually the better ones.
Best Regards
