In usual German style they would probaly have forgotten to mount any MG's for close defence and it would have been killed by a sticky bomb or a Molotov cocktail on the engine grill

Looks like the perfect target for heavy artillery.
Plunging shells from 20 cm / 8inch artillery would
soon punch through the top.
It might have been the perfect plan by some engineers
to keep themselves in their offices far away from the
meatgrinder on the eastern front ...................
