There has been a lot of praise and criticism (in equal measure) heaped upon Dragon Models Limited for their release policy. It has seemed, from where I have been sitting, that I was unable to publish a news story on their recent releases without a flurry of comments. The majority constructive, but some going a little further... With the release of this new set, Allied, and in particular U.S. Army Modellers, should find this new release absolutely invaluable...

I found the following Andrea Miniatures July 2005 new releases on the Squadron website. While not necessarily the most exciting of releases, they do make for something different.

ANT Miniatures, first introduced to the Armorama.com community during November 2004 (Click here for the news story), have quietly and consistently been releasing new historical and contemporary miniatures at a rate comparable to some of the better miniature companies in Western Europe and North America.

In this, the second of the reports on the 'renaissance' of Takahashi Modelling, attention turns to their plans for 1/35th scale figures....

There are many notable figure sculptures out there and of course many superb figures. In recent years, one of the most impressive range of figures have come from the Japanese company, Takahashi Modelling, not particularly for their subject matter, more for the quality of the sculpting. Now they're back. With a vengeance!!

While possible not the most interesting of releases to the general population, the June 2005 releases from Spanish manufacturer El Viejo Dragón Miniatures will serve to fill a gap in the 1/72 scale figure market and get modellers of this genre somewhat excited. These are the first of what promises to be an interesting new range for the Spaniards.

I came across this new little Argentinean/Mexican figure manufacturer a few days ago, and thought I'd share what appears to be a very interesting range with you all.

Concord Publications continues to publish excellent, moderately-priced books on a wide variety of subjects of interest to the military modeller. The latest release is no exception....

I have been rather lax in the last month or two with the new releases from the Italian figure compay Pegaso Models. As a way of rectifying this, here are their new releases....

As DML announces the latest imminent figure release, I can hear Allied modellers give a good hearty cheer. DML's latest 1/35 figure, announced on May 5, 2005, is indeed an Allied set which will compliment, among others, DML's forthcoming Shermans.

Dragon USA announced the following new release on May 10, 2005. The set will clearly compliment the recently announced DML "88" (although I'm sure it'll suit the newly announced AFV Club Flak 18 just as well!).

Following from the previous story on Mig Productions new armor reeases, attention now turns to their interesting figure releases...

Recently, we have been featuring a increasing number of the Russian TANK 1/35th scale resin figures and their incredibly interesting range of weapon/accessory sets.The following 6 new figure sets are now listed on the TANK website and should be available shortly.

Perhaps in the last month or so, the new Andrea Miniatures' releases have (to my eyes at least), been lacking a certain 'innovation' or 'freshness' this months releases however, are VERY different...

New release by Military Miniatures Warehouse, features Lt. George Dixon, who was the last commander of the ill-fated by tactfully successful Confederate submarine, the CSS Hunley.

A few months ago, here on Armorama, Jeff Meckley (Holycow) launched his new figure company, Think -One - Eighty - Studios with some sublime 1/35th U.S. figures from O.I.F., now in the third of the company's new release program, he brings us new figures in both 1/35th and in 1/48th scale...

After a week or two of highly attrractive images of work in progress by Jaume Ortiz Forns in the forums, the new Alpine Miniatures figures, have finally arrived!

Concord Publcations should theoretically require little in the way of introduction. Since their inception, they have been producing high-quality military reference books which have an extraordinarily wide range of themes... This new book will interest both the armor modeller as well as the figure modeller...

Andrea Miniatures continue with their (monthly) releases with a number of new products...

Once again, Verlinden Productions is presenting advance news of their new releases. This time the releasesare for May...

Young B. Song has released a WWII bust which should appeal to both figure painters and armor modellers.

Russian tank riders, American GI's in relaxed scenes and bald heads are on the menu this month for Warriors. Another new figure from Anders Heintz was included in our care package from VLS for March, his G.I. Walking with Jerry Can (WA35520).

Recently, the launch of Jeff Meckley's new company - Think One-Eighty Studios was announced, with an attractive range of new figures in a variety of scales. Fortunately, Jeff is not letting the grass grow under his feet and has announced some new releases....

The Fusilier has released two new 80mm, white metal figure kits.

To help fill the holes in those Bradleys and M-1s, CMK has recently released a two-and-half figure set of modern US tankers.

No matter how good 1/35th scale figure sets are in plastic, quite often it is the heads and helmets which let them down. There are however a number of manufacturers who supply both heads and helmets in 1/35th scale, amongst them, is Ultracast...

S&T has just released 4 new U.S Tankers (WWII) to accompany the U.S. Tank Commander released late last summer.
