Alliance Model Works continue to release new upgrade sets onto the market, this time they take a look at the Allied forces and specifically the M2 and M3 family of vehicles. This set is a photo etch, resin, and decal combination which is a general upgrade product rather than being aimed at a specific vehicle, and because of this it would seem to be suitable for up grading more than one model vehicle depending on your needs.

Alliance Model Works have sent us images, and, interestingly, notes on the process behind their latest batch of 1/35th scale Update sets. The latter is extremely welcome as sometimes I get the feeling that whether a model needs an upate or not, some manufactures will produce one.. With the notes, AM-Works clearly demonstrate that yes, in these cases an Upate is certainly justified.

The 8.8 cm FlaK 37 (Sf) auf Fgst Zgkw 18t conversion requires both Tamiya's FAMO kit (35239) and Dragon's 8.8cm Flak37 (6287). The Flak36 kit will fit, but as no photographic sample of the vehicle with that weapon had been found, the Type-18 barrel should be used.
