I think it is very difficult to convert the early Buffalo to be A2 because almost 90% details are different. eg: A newly designed bumper, larger hatches on the top, different size windows, different axle and wheel rims, different tail nights, different exhaust pipe, different interior cushion. The easiest way to tell an A1 from an A2 are the wheels. On the A1 the rear wheels are different then the front wheels. On the A2 all the wheels are the same. They did this so that all that was required was one type of wheel and tire assembly to replace any wheel. There are other differences but this is the easiest and fastest way to tell them apart. I drive by the plant where they are built everyday and I have many friends that work there. Inside info.

Yep the wheels are a good recognition feature. Here's an A2 without the hose reel on the boom. And an A1 with bar armour. cheers

Not an unreasonable price for such a nice kit, especially from Bronco who aren't typically the cheapest around. I'll pass ordering from Greatmodels (Grrr!|:( ), and wait for SprueBrothers to get it in stock. I want this one dearly.
