Tamiya has been known for big announcements, but this time it is something big. From the Nuremberg Toy Fair, Tamiya has announced a big tank, but in a smaller scale.
At Nuremberg, Tamiya has announced an addition to their increasingly popular 1/48 scale line. And from most accounts, the newly announced JS-2 Model 1944 ChKz should be popular too. Tamiya has not yet announced a release date, but you can stay tune to Armorama and we will update you when we hear.
There were also a few other announcements at Nuremberg by Tamiya. One was the re-release of two popular kits, the M-10 Tank Destroyer and and M-36 Jackson, both in 1/35 scale. The other is the German Steyr 1500A Kommandeurwagen with HQ Staff Set (7 fig.) in 1/35 scale and labelled as “Limited Edition”. When we have further details on these releases, we will be sure to let you know.
