Dragon have revealed a lot of new information about their two armor model and a figure set 1/35 scale releases and also announced one new 1/72 scale model.
First information about new 1/35 scale Flak Artillery Crew Winter 1943-45 (Multi-Pose Figures) set (6275) was already posted on Armorama on May 12 (Link to article) and now we can show you some photos of this interesting set.
New small scale kit is T-34/76 Mod. 1941 (7259) and some of the highlight features of this model are:
- newly tooled mantlet,
- new gun barrel,
- a new tooling for the turret roof,
- gun breach is also included,
- modified one-piece tracks,
- slide-molded one-piece road wheels,
- wide selection of decals by Cartograf,
- photo-etched parts,
- metal tow-cable.
We already mentioned here on Armorama (Link to article) that one of the recently revealed "secret" releases in this year's catalog will be 6264 - Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf E (3 in 1) and now we can give you some more details about this kit, although the list is not complete yet and DML will reveal more in coming days!
- high-tech one-piece slide molded hull tub,
- hull bottom with full and correct details,
- dual hull, with and without additional side armor,
- fuel filler cap can be set in open or close position,
- idler adjuster mounting have with the most accurate details possible with gear inside,
- transmission with separate armored cover and details on both sides,
- road wheels with extreme detail with separate rubber rims and hubs,
- cutting edge suspension units,
- realistic parting lines on rubber tires,
- realistic suspension with multiple components actually working like the real vehicle's,
- appropriately different details on left and right tracks (Magic Track).
And finally the next big release is 1/35 scale Sd.Kfz. 181 Tiger I Late Production (3 in 1) kit (6253). The list of features of this kit is loooooooong...:
- all parts needed to reproduce a command version will be included as part of the 3-in-1 package
- it will feature the new generation cupola found on this version
- side skirts will be finely reproduced in brass metal,
- one-piece slide molded turret,
- commander's hatch w/interior details,
- anti-aircraft MG gun mount in superb detail,
- clear parts for direct vision ports in cupola,
- loader's hatch w/interior details,
- stowge bin can be assembled open/closed, replete with slide molded rivet detail on all faces of the bin,
