Tamiya America website has released news of a new decal setting solution that is soon to be released.
Here's the description as found on the Tamiya America website website:
Mark Fit will soften your decals which will allow you to apply them to difficult to apply areas such as bumpy and curved surfaces, providing an improved finished to your scale model.
A convenient brush is included.
Usage: To soften water-slide decals included in plastic model kits to fit curved surfaces.
Composition: Water, Organic solvent. NET volume: 40 ml - $3.90
How to Use
• Apply Mark Fit to area where decal is to be positioned.-Place decal onto the area.
• Slide decal into correct position by a wet finger.
• Use a soft cloth or cotton swab to remove excess water and any air bubbles.
• Apply Mark Fit over the decal again, then use a soft cloth or cotton swab to conform it to the model's surface.
• Do not touch until decal dries completely.
