Bronco Models has sent us images of a test assembly of their 17/25pdr gun crew. Take a look inside for details.
When Bronco Models released their 17/25pdr gun “Pheasant Gun” the only thing missing was a dedicated gun crew, well down the road Bronco Models is getting ready to remedy that problem with a 17/25pdr gun crew.

Great poses, with the possible exception of the ever-present "pointing officer," (is that all they do?) and the facial detail looks very good. The thick helmet straps are a bit off-putting, but fixable. The soldier feeding the shell in to the gun has his fist against the base of the round to avoid getting fingers stuck in the breech, a nice, realistic detail. The standing figure with hands on hips has many, many potential other uses beyond this kit.

Excellent news - I really like these figs! (Scouteyes, I believe the academy at Sandhurst has a mandatory "Pointing Dramatically" course for new cadets. It covers such key topics as "gripping binoculars pensively" and "staring over one shoulder"... ) Tom

Tom's right, it was introduced after an exchange program with the German Infantry Academy where one in every four man group (no more and no less than one per group) is designated as the 'squad pointer'

Are you sure about the officer. Looks to me like he is a line judge for a tennis or cricket match and pretty ticked off about a call. L.O.L. As far as a pointing figure 1- looks better than most, uniform looks a bit to crisp and 2- if you point to an object, look at the position of you hand, it tends to be twisted palm down with most people. Still a nice set with a lot of potential.
