The population in the world of model Panzers has just gotten larger, this time with an Ausf.G from Cyber-Hobby.
Cyber-Hobby has announced through their website a new Pz.Kpfw.III (T) Ausf.G with a 3.7cm gun. The Ausf.G variant was produced in 1940-41 with about 600 built. The main difference on this variant was the added armor to the mantlet.

6765 - 1/35 Sd.Kfz.141 Pz.Kpfw.III (3.7cm) (T) Ausf.G

The kit is now available for pre-order on their site, but no estimated delivery date. So if you are a Panzer fan make room on your display shelf.

Sweet! Just made a kitbash Ausf G with the 50mm and been wanting to do another but with the 37mm so this makes it much more easier and reduces the amount of spares.

That's odd they're doing it as a White Box offering. And is this new tooling or a reissue of their old kit with some added sprues?

Bill Unfortunately there is not a lot of info at this time, but I would presume that some of the sprues are re-issues, with the new stuff being the mantlet and the barrel. I believe some of the "white" boxes include PE extras too. I will follow this one, and when I get more info, I will post it. Kevin

Thanks, Kevin. I am trying to get one each of all the III variants, and the G is conspicuously missing.

the cyberhobby white box kits are all new. Only the cyberhobby orange box kits are reissue with some add ones, mostly magic tracks and a figure set. Now this G version belongs to the first 90 tanks build with 37mm gun before they switch to 50 mm L/42 gun. Especially this is one of 5 deepwading ones. For a normal later version drop the deep wading parts; hoping a normal exchaused is within and add armorscale turretfrontal armor with 5 cm gun.

Thanks, Wolfgang. I knew the (T) was for Tauch, but did not know it was deep wading in this particular case.
