Bronco Models has sent Armorama a number of images of their Russian SPG SU-152 (KV14) Sept 43 Production. Take a look inside to see what will be coming our way soon.
These built up test images that Bronco Models have provided show what looks to be an excellent offering of the Russian SPG SU-152 (KV14) Sept 43 Production, with some very nice details provided in the kit. The inclusion of an engine is the first thing that caught my eye along with the texture of the armour both rolled and cast. The workable tracks and suspension will make this popular with anyone who wants to put it into a diorama. All in all a promising looking model of the SPG SU-152 (KV14) Sept 43 Production.

I jut got an email from Rubin, from Bronco with some new info about the SU 152. I also asked Bronco about the cap on the wheel suspension arms. Rubin from Bronco came up with photogaphic evidence that the suspension arm cap in the kit is correct for a late SU 152. This is why Bronco is my number 1 kit manufacturer. Bronco cares! This is commitment to the customer.

Damn, I just finished a DML JSU-152 3 n' 1 two weeks ago! An engine would have been a nice detail to have......

I don`t think that the KV-1s and the IS-2 shared the same engine

Has anyone seen these photos from Bronco? http://www.themodellingnews.com/2012/04/bronco-preview-their-135th-scale-su-152.html This looks a lot of modelling fun with interior, engine and workable recoil, tracks, and suspension! Lucky Model just listed it as £26 ($43) without shipping. http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=BRO%20CB35109 Its now firmly in the category of have to have along with Meng's Tortoise! Dan

I see the same issue with the superstructure side panels edge as Trumpeter did - Here, the sides should be a bit higher than the roof, with the grinding away of the plate for periscope clearance, but both Bronco and Trump did the sides smooth. The same photo from the AirConnection KV book is shown here, it is the Trump SU-152 review.
