Slingshot Models has sent Armorama news on their Aerozan RF-8 in 1/48th scale.
This 1/48th scale model of this Russian Aero sled the Aerozan RF-8 from Slingshot Models is a full resin offering with added metal detail. The resin parts all appear cleanly moulded with no obvious problems and the addition of the two figures and their skies is a great addition. One aspect of this kit that I like is the decision by Slingshot Models to have included pre-folded metal detail and metal re-enforcement where needed. The model consists of 32 resin pieces and 3 shaped metal pieces not counting the re-enforcement metal utilised in the support structures.

Looks like a very nicely done kit in 1/48, just not wild about some of the wide attachment points on the casting blocks. The price seems pretty reasonable as well. It's great to see some figures included as well, but there faces seem a bit...soft?

Thank you for your kind words. Concerning the casting blocks you are right,they are big but the attachment points are very thin,you only need a hobby knife to remove them,no saws or anything stronger. The figure faces look soft because of the flash from the camera,they are fine,not great but good enough.

Good to hear Constantinos. Thin resin is easy enough to deal with, and understood about the faces on the figures. It really is nice to see a kit of an open vehicle that includes figures specifically designed for it. Thanks for your prompt reply!
