Revell/Monogram has announced news of a SPz PUMA and German Staff Car "G4" (1939) both in 1/35th scale.
Revell/Monogram has two new products hitting the market which is good to see from Revell/Monogram as when the companies merged earlier this year there were concerns about what would happen. The new offerings from Revell/Monogram are the SPz PUMA and German Staff Car "G4" (1939) both of which are in 1/35th scale. Here are the descriptions of the new models from Revell/Monogram.

80-3096 - SPz PUMA
Skill level: 5, Scale: 1:35, Length: 215 mm, Parts: 177
Description
The latest and greatest IFV of the German Army
When the Schutzenpanzer Puma finishes military trials, it will be one of the most innovative infantry fighting vehicles in the world. The vehicle operates with a crew of three and has space for six passengers. Two interchangeable armour kits are meant to either shrug off projectiles or resist shaped charges. Combined with its versatile armament, this variable armour load makes the Puma perfect for performing a wide array of main-line battle and counter-insurgency missions. This kit features detailed surface structures, a rotating turret, smoke launchers, vinyl tracks, and decals.

80-3235 - German Staff Car "G4" (1939)
Skill level: 5, Scale: 1:35, Length: 160 mm, Parts: 309
Description
A six wheeled all-terrain propaganda piece for the Third Reich
As the movie camera and visual media spread, it was no longer enough to simply conquer a country; you had to look good doing it too. The extremely opulent Mercedes-Benz W31 type G4 was the tool Hitler chose for showing off the wealth and power of Germany to the world. These open-topped cars featured strongly in propaganda parades through the streets of Austria and Czechoslovakia after Germany occupied those countries in the lead-up to WWII. This kit features several building options, an authentic interior and decals.

Revell OF Germany has already released both these kits, so I guess we're going to be seeing all of ROG's new releases as Revell/Monogram releases also. Hisham

Is the Revell release any chepaer than ICM?

If it's RoG, I really doubt it. Their rebox of the RM2828 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C goes for about $12-15 more than the US of A- made version.

You never know, ROG's rerelease of ICMs Henschel 33D truck was quite a bit cheaper than ICM's version. We'll see I guess. Daniel.
