In this the second news story from Black Dog we take a look a couple of diorama bases that are being released one of which is suitable for modern AFVs and the other figures.
Black Dog has released a number of these dioramas in a box and these latest two featuring one in 1/72nd scale and the other in 1/35th scale are nice additions to the range. The 1/35th scale offering features the front end of a destroyed Fuchs on what is a good rendition of the rocky ground found at the side of the road in some areas of Afghanistan with a very small area of road in one corner, this diorama is I believe due to size only suitable for the display of some figures unless my judgement of scale is off but even so will make for a very nice vignette. The 1/72nd scale offering features a an Iraqi street scene with a partial structure, road surface display area for a vehicle, and Jersey barriers, this is again a very eye catching display area providing a quick and easy diorama for the fans of braille.
