Two news kits from Kit Form Services have been announced that are designed to transported by air, and they are in big scale.

Kit Form Services have announced two new kits in 1/24 scale.

TQ-203 Truck Half Ton Lightweight Airportable
The kit comprises some 58 parts in high quality resin, 53 parts in white metal, & approx 116 in brass etch. Glazing & pre coloured clear cast side tail lights are included, as are high quality water slide decals for Military Police, Parachute Regiment & Royal Marines plus all data plates, gauges & VRN. The main canopy is supplied in vac-form with Solartex for the side & rear sheets & strapping. The model also includes optional resin & etch parts for the earlier version with the inboard head lights. Steering is pose-able, the bonnet is removable to reveal a complete engine & detailed engine bay, the doors & tailgate are separate items allowing for a wide range of display options including a full 'strip down' version. Full pictorial instructions included. A 120mm Wombat conversion will also be available for the kit during 2013.

TQ-206 & TQ-207 Trailer Half Ton Sankey Mk1 & Mk2
TQ-206, the Mk1 bodied version, is generally aimed at the 50s & 60s era for use with the FV1801 Austin Champ kit.
TQ-207, the Mk2 bodied version, is largely aimed at the 70s & 80s for use with the Lightweight & 1 Ton kits as well as the re-released Italeri 1/24th plastic 3 Series kit.
Each has a one piece brass etch body tub, which is very easy to fold & assemble. Both kits comes complete with period VRN & plastic strip to create the internal duckboard. Landing legs may be posed grounded or stowed & both kits come complete with road tyres, handbrake & over-run brake linkages plus a Solartex load cover with cutting template.
