This is the first of four news stories on what BlackDog has released, and in this case it is two 1/35th scale figures of Modern Israeli Infantry which are available as individual purchases or as a pair.
BlackDog has released another two excellent figures of Modern Israeli Infantry in action. The figures are available as individual purchases or as a pair and having taken a look at previous figures from BlackDog these should be a joy to build and paint. In the belief that these figures are basically the same as the other figures available from BlackDog the only improvement required from the modeller is to add the rifle straps and to drill out the end of the muzzle on the rifle.

Nice, these guys are great and will go well with the Masterclub IDF figure from the same unit.

Nice and useful release and action poses! A must have figures set next to all the Merkavas releases! The only negative is that there is no painting guide? Does anyone know which are the appropriate colors (Humbrol or Vallejo if possible) to use for these figures and also for the modern israeli tank crew of Blackdog's previous release? LINK

Humbrol 72 Khaki Drill is the clodest out of the bottle Humbrol color I know of for the faded look.

Noted with many thanks! For the tankers the same Khaki color or an olive drab?

Just recently watched "Beaufort" on SBS, great for reference viewing. Focuses on a Golan Infantry unit (same helmet covers) in Lebanon 1982, Merkava and Panthers up nice and close. Highly recommend for IDF fans:-)

Just ordered the latest iteration of Black Dog's modern IDF, entitled Israeli Patrol Group. Consists of four figures. Great looking figures, and FINALLY the ones I need for my Op Cast Lead dio! LINK I have the Master Club tanker and infantryman; they look like they are 54mm to me and am not sure they will match up with the Black Dog figures--but i guess I'll find out later this week. I have the D-Toys Israeli tankers--they are definitely smaller than the Master Club figures. Tim W
