Another Panzer variant on the way from Dragon, this one will help with clear those fortified bunkers.
Dragon has announced yet another Panzer variant, the Ladungsleger. This variant is based on the Pz.Kpfw I chassis, and was used by the panzer-pionier battalions. The tank was modified with a mechanism on the rear deck that allowed the lowering of a 50kg demolition charge onto or next to a field fortification. It is stated they were used in Western Europe in 1940, but I am not sure how many were made. The kit from Dragon will include metal cables to recreate the variant and will come with Dragon Magic Track.
6480 – Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.B Ladungsleger
According to Dragon Models USA, the kit is scheduled for an April 2013 release.
