Another announcement from Italeri has the re-release of the M48 in 1/72 scale.

Italeri has announced the re-boxing and release of the M48A2C in 1/72 scale. This is a re-boxing of the original 1988 Esci mode, with new parts added when Italeri released it in 2003. The kit provides marking for 3 tanks, one American in Vietnam and two IDF from the late 1960’s.

In a way, it's nice news but quite disappointing that they didn't revamp the road wheels. Too many of the old ESCI kits had the non separate road wheels like this one. Just one more issue to try and work around. Hope the new 1/35 scale Dragon M-48 makes it down to 1:72.
