ICM has informed Armorama of a new product that has come out of left field. The new product is a World War One Austro-Hungarian Infantry Weapon and Equipment set.

This new 1/35th scale product from ICM has certainly caught me on the hop as it is very rare for a World War One kit to hit the market; let alone a new product aimed directly at a specific combatants infantry. This new product titled ‘WWI Austro-Hungarian Infantry Weapon and Equipment’ has a good selection of products in it from weapons to personal kit. The set has pistols, rifles, bayonets, and grenades, then you have personal kit such as mess tins, canteens, and helmets to go hand in hand with a nice selection of tools. One item I particularly like is the rifle shield to protect the infantryman while firing above the trenches, it may be a simplistic item but it is a good inclusion. Perhaps this product is a sign that one of the majors is going to take an interest in World War One in a broader sense.
