Airfix have announced the release of the photo etched parts sets for their 1/48 Jackal and Coyote kits, and for their Land Rover kit, with both now available.
Airfix’s first foray into producing photo etched details is now out there; they have announced that the these two etched sets are now in stock and available direct from their web site:

Additional brilliant detail can be added to the excellent new Jackal model with this fine photo-etch set. This set is also suitable for the Coyote.

Providing even further detail for the superb Land Rover models, this photo-etch set gives the opportunity to add even further fine detail.

Cool! Wish I had a better idea as to what parts on the kit these replace... And how much of one PE set could be used towards the two vehicle kits (just trying ta save a couple'a bucks here!)? Also wondering what the quality of the brass is -- sometimes we see too thing, sometimes too thick, sometimes juuuuust right. Interested on the feedback of anyone who picks this set up (and the infantry PE set, too). Thanks, Matthew! Regards and Aloha, Johnny B.

I picked up the Jackal a couple of weeks ago, so I've been keeping an eye out for this. I'm also looking forward to the crew figure set as well.
