When and where this beauty will be on sale???? I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please give advise!!!!

Are you sure that Panda have announced this kit before? I know that Amusing Hobby and Takom announced their kits of Ob.279, but have not heard anything about the Panda kit before.

I'll sure wait for the three kits to be available before jumping in. Got burnt for the T-90 by buying the first kit out on the market. Given the track record (or lack thereof) of the three companies, I suspect the Amusing Hobby kit might turn up to be the best, but we'll see. Cheers, Christophe

Looks ALIEN to me... I don't think I need one of these, however- It's GREAT for the guys that do!!!

It's difficult to not want one of those for the shelf. Does anyone know of a good reference work?

Awesome amount of tracks to build... ... enough for 2 tanks! Jeff

if you google "tank object 279" & click on images there are several good shots of the one in the Kubinka museum, A year or two back I came across a good walk-around on the russian dish-narod.ru site. The Panda hull looks rather crude in detail on the hull top & bottom with raised weld beads or deep trenches whereas the real thing is flat/cast with much less texturing. Hopefully this is just cad art or prototype kit shots & the actual model is accurate.
