1/48.... and no clear part for the head light?

Remember...this is a test kit and not retail so not everything may be included/finalized.

I realize that these are early shots, and of course that this is a tiny vehicle even in 1/35 let alone 1/48, but why skip the interior entirely?

What a curious lil' critter for a new release!? And yes -- why skip the interior entirely? Did Tamiya bump their collective head? I must admit that I've never come across this machine in my years of reading about the eastern Front. Despite being an unrepentant fan of uncommon subjects I doubt I'll ever buy one.

Mini Art released one in 1/35 ( repop of a Vision kit ) . It has a drivers seat , steering wheel and the machine gun . There is an awesome PE interiour with the fuel tank and all the drum ammo racks etc , but I as usual , I've forgotten who makes it

I'm not sure why they skipped on the vehicle's interior, but the turret is too small to cram anything reasonable in their with the gun and gunner figure. The Vision Models 1/35 interior was pretty simplified as well. What really gets me on this kit is the way they molded a fill plate in around the oil pan. That should have at least been a separate piece to allow the builder the option to remove it and put something else in there. The leaf springs also don't have the leaves represented when you look at them from the side. The saw blade is also very thick. I'm sure that Hauler and/or Eduard will remedy this. Being a fan of 1/48 armor, I'm still excited that it's being released.

So the kit is so closed up you can't see any detail inside anyways. Its good for a small addition to a dio or figure vignettes. Used in WW2 and Korea
