Dmitri Baev from NATO in Miniatures informed us about his new 1/35 scale figure releases... and there are quite a few of them, encompassing PMCs, modern Brits and even some "revamped" older figures from NATO line.
PMC-3 - Mercenary with UMP45

PMC-4 - Mercenary with a shotgun

PMC-5 - PMC team

PMC-6a - PMC sniper with PSG- 1

PMC-6b - PMC sniper with PSG- 1

All these figures were sculpted in 1/35 scale by Michael Varlamov, with the boxart painted by Dmitri Baev. The figures are cast in resin.

PMC-6 figure includes a figure with complete base and a lot of accessories: M4 CQB, pistol, helmet, backpack, and many different pouches that are cast separately and can be used on the figure in any setup a modeler wants. A bottle is not included. The figure is available in two versions; PMC-6a is supplied with the base and PMC-6b is not.

We were very often written by fans of a modern army, and ask very figure of British soldiers in Afghanistan or Iraq. We thought long and decided to start a series of British figures. Michael Varlamov made a few figures for us and this is the first of them.

Brit-002 - British Machine Gunner with Browning 50 caliber

As with the previous releases, this one is also sculpted in 1/35 scale by Michael Varlamov, with the boxart painted by Dmitri Baev. The figure is cast in resin and includes a figure, .50 cal machine gun, and sand bags.

Dmitri also decided to update their older figures: USA-002 and USA-003. Except the new boxart, the USA-003 now includes a new helmet and a new weapon.

The figures are available through:

trisaw agree with you about too much desert figures, but most producers will only release figures based on popularity of real events ie.the afghan/iraq conflict holds more intereast than say the pirate attacks of the coast of somalia,i would love a set of somali pirates but dont hold your breath by the way the brit figure fireing the 50cal is the 1st modern brit figure realeased in an action pose since dragons plastic figures(AA's are all at rest ).Some COD character figures would be great like "soap" but copy right might make it a no no.

The only one I kind of like is the PMC Sniper.. the others don't really offer anything new or interesting. Hisham

I agree with you Hisham, I love NIM figs but the PMC days are done.... let's move onto some Modern SAS, SEAL or DELTA figs. Some tactical team figs would be great..!

I think PMC sniper is the best figure from Michael Verlamov so far. We'll soon have a review of that one on Armorama. I agree on Dima Shevtsov's work. However, the owner of NATO in Miniatures also started his WW2 line of figures called SOGA Miniatures and Dima now sculpts for that line exclusively. Mario

That shoulder rig for the shot gun PMC dude looks weird...I think the pistol grip should be facing opposite for a left hand draw. Awkward to get that out if right handed...!

Hmmm... Dare I mention that the British machine gunner is cocking the .50 with an overhand motion?
