1970's Civilian German Car

Diopark has sent Armorama news of a great new product in the works, the product is a 1/35th scale civilian car.

Diopark with this news should make a lot of modern armour fans very happy. This looks to be a Mercedes and is listed as a 70’s German made Civilian car with IED accessories. If this model is as good as the pedal cycles Diopark released then this model should be stunning, and with any luck they may release a set of figures to accompany the set in the future. The inclusion of items consisting of a mobile phone, RPG rocket, TM-62 M Mine, 122mm HE Shell, Water container and Gas cylinder are icing on the cake. It would also seem to indicate that it will also be supplied with extras to produce the model as a police vehicle.

Yeah, I just saw the price tag at luckymodels... It's like $50 USD after shipping. Yikes... I don't know about being able to get 2 after all. It is over-priced.

Yep, one cool looking kit, will go well with my Achzarit... What was the vehicle used as a taxi in "Blackhawk down", please? Anyone know? A black tape 'x' on the roof, little birds... Am surprised at the price for this, but hay, my birthday is in Feb. Kylie A happy new year to everyone here.

This ie welcome news indeed. Nice looking from the P.M.M.S. site. Put this together with PlusModels burnded out car and an almost instant street dio. I can't recall who did it but there was a 1/35th scale V.W. Beetle. Box art had it painted green with a woman W/umbella, and I remember it was a company from Japan. Wish now that I still had it...

The PMM review looks good. Now all we need is one of the Aftermarket companies to deliver a "Taxi" conversion (Taxi sign, taxameter, driver and passenger)

Ok diorama idea... Do the German Police markings... then have a T-72 or T-80 crushing it in a WW3 diorama. Soviet invasion of Germany.. You like? you like? Or may be a Leopard running over the Police car.

Police car screams for a barracks gate and some protesters. Or the car standing in front of a barracks building with some policeman stuffing a soldier in the back (Drugs etc. where handled by the police not the BWs "Feldjäger") For fun: Have a policeman write a ticket for an M60 that is illegaly parking at the central bus stop (Busbahnhof)
