I love all the ICM WW1 stuff, but hope that the rifles will be the correct size (unlike the Austro-Hungarian Mannlichers). I am curious if fhe four-legged stand-mounted version of the MG08 will be included in the kit, there are only Russian Maxims as separate kits in their catalogue, and the Austro-Hungarian kits have 2/4 Schwarzlose mgs.

Some of these would be useful to WW2 modellers also, the Germans were still issuing Broomhandle Mausers, MP18s and old rifles etc to second line troops throughout the war. Also the helmet!

This is great news, especially the helmet, since some figures can always converted from WW2 sets, but that 1916 helmet is distinctive for WW1. Maybe ICM has more figure sets planned.

Recently announced for future production were: Russian Infantry WW1 French Infantry WW1 German Infantry WW1 British Infantry WW1 All are 4 figure sets and to compliment each set will be a set of weapons and soldiers basic equipment issued as separate kits.
