Some great looking news in from Resicast has a Sherman BARV and Vickers AA conversions heading our way.
Resicast has some new items now available and these include two new great looking conversions and a set of 3in mortar wooden ammunition boxes. For the conversions, the list starts with a Sherman Beach Arnoured Recovery Vehicle designed for the Tasca/Asuka Sherman III. This set will include resin and photo-etched parts, and decals. And there is a new set to convert the Vulcan Light Tank Mk II kit into an anti-aircraft vehicle.

35.1126 Sherman BARV
35.1239 Vickers Light Tank Besa AAA Turret Mk.II
35.2365 3 inch Mortal Wooden Ammo Boxes

Armorama would like to thank Alan McNeilly and Resicast for the update.

'035.2365 3 inch Mortar Wooden Ammo Boxes'.... Just what the doctor ordered at the present momento following the Riich 3" Mortar. However, as far as Price is concerned, i'd have preferred the BARV as a CONVERSION rather than full kit. We're not exactly short of good Shermans as donor kits? Doh!!!!! Just realized it IS a conversión set......AAAARGGGHHH::::

Surely "immortal" shells are infinitely reusable? I saw that BARV at Folkestone early this month, and it looks like a cracking conversion! Pity I've chosen the scratch-building route already... (And price is always an issue.)

Having built the original Resin full kit, I might spring for this and do it again... I nice addition to any collection. Keith.

It's OK to have the BARV as a conversion, but I wonder if you have to do the weld lines yourself? They show up in white on the photos. I have the old full kit so probably won't get this new one. Cheers, Christophe
