Some news out of Meng has a modern German long barreled howitzer heading our way.
Meng has announced a Panzerhaubitze 2000. Translated to armoured howitzer 2000, this German 155mm self propelled howitzer entered service in 1996. The gun was designed by Rheinmetall being an 8 meter barrel lined with chromium. The gun has been able to fire a shell 56km and can fire 3 rounds in 9 seconds.
