Some news out of Meng has a modern German long barreled howitzer heading our way.
Meng has announced a Panzerhaubitze 2000. Translated to armoured howitzer 2000, this German 155mm self propelled howitzer entered service in 1996. The gun was designed by Rheinmetall being an 8 meter barrel lined with chromium. The gun has been able to fire a shell 56km and can fire 3 rounds in 9 seconds.

That's it. Meng's making a strong effort to be my favorite mfg. First the Minenraumer, then the M2A3 Bradley and now this.

I know its probably a long shot but does anyone know if Mengs latest beauty will have an interior or even a partial interior ? Cheers , Andy

I think it was mentioned in the other thread on this, I don't think it has an interior. Could you imagine the added cost of an interior on this beast?

Meng gave Auf1 155mm SP howitzer a full interior. I don't know why giving PzHbtz 2000 a full interior would be more difficult or costly.
