The latest list of new items from Resicast is out and it includes a great looking World War 1 heavy artillery tractor and much more.
Resicast has sent in the list of June 2014 releases and it looks impressive, especially the World War 1 heavy artillery tractor. This full resin kit with photo-etched details also included decals for both UK and US vehicles. Also on the list is an 8in heavy gun with limber, again impressive looking; a LRDG heavy gun truck, late variant; ammunition for the 8in gun; and a Browning .30 & K gun set. It is a great looking list, with some must have releases.

351240 – Heavy Artillery Tractor WW1
351241 – 8in Heavy Gun Mk.II & Limber
352369 – LRDG Heavy Gun “Late”
352368 – 8in Heavy Gun Ammunition
352370 – Browning .30 & K Guns

It should also be noted that Resicast will be hosting the Tanks in Town and Open House on September 6, 2014 with modelling demonstrations, free drinks, and BBQ.

Armorama would like to thank Resicast and Alan McNeilly for the update.

Thanks Keith: Here's a pic taken at Bovington I found on the net: and a more colourful one post war. From WW1 to the Fair Grounds of today you can still see the odd one of these around. Al

Is that an excessive amount of stowage on the LRDG truck...? Haven't seen any reference photos with that load.....hate to be the gunner or trying to get to the rear gun if in contact..!

Would love to have both the tractor and gun, but not sure my wallet, or Financial Adviser, would approve. They both look awesome to me.

No very common for the trucks to be fully loaded to busting point at the start of an Op. Al

The "heavy tractor" was also used by the US army, unusual though, the photographs I have seen show them with the roof removed. It is thought this was done for rail transportation.
