News in from PLA Editions is the next issue of Abrams Squad is out, and looks to be packed with some great looking articles.
PLA Editions has informed Armorama that Abrams Squad #8 is now available. Also PLA Editions would like to remind us that the Abrams Squad special edition Modelling the Fennek is still available and cover both the German and Dutch vehicle.

Abrams Squad #8 Contents:
4 – Commander’s Display Unit: A regular section devoted to news and reviews of model kits, aftermarkets, books and much more.
8 – Remote Thermal Sight: We have built for you the Kinetic Maxx-Pro. Here you have the conclusions of our study of it. We hope it will be useful when you build yours. As usual, the OOTB assembly comes accompanied with pictures of the real subject in order to compare with the model.
20 – T-62 model 1972:Undoubtedly the current Syrian conflict attracts the interest of many modellers. This one has been Thomas Birzer's case, which offers us one of the most emblematic vehicles of this war. As you can see, he has achieved a very realistic and charming finish at the same time.
32– M-ATV : We see great quality models very often, but rarely we stumble over one of those models that “take our breath away”. When you read the Hugo Luyten's M-ATV article you will deal perfectly that we are talking about.
46 – Operation “Peace for Galilee”: Magach 6 (M60A1 Blazer) :Jose Antonio Velázquez approaches Israeli topic with his habitual mastery. He has obtained a thorough job. He transports us to Galilee and he is able to show us, in minimum space, how the Magach were, how they were dirtying, how there were damaged and how their crews were.
58 – T-72 M1 Czech : Top-class Weathering at the hand of Chris Jerret. But this time on a Czech!!! vehicle. A cold war T-72 M1 with unusual camouflage. His article will be inspirational for your models. You can be sure of that.
66 – LECLERC : The icing on the cake, Pere Pla delights us with this unusual vehicle. You
can´t miss his innovative dusting technique! Abrams Squad’s I+D that we hope
you will like and try it soon in your next model.
70 – Eurosatory 2014 : Up to the minute in defense technology, it happened last June at Paris in
the Land and Air-land Defence and Security Exhibition. Our lovely friend
Julie Ludman was there and now shows us photos of vehicles that maybe one
day we’ll see as scale model kits, and why not in Abrams Squad?
72 – Turret Basket: at the end of every issue you’ll find the kits that we’ll find in the market soon and some teasers of the next Abrams Squad Magazine.

Armorama would like to thank PLA Editions for the update.
