SOGA Miniatures released new 1/35 scale figures... a very interesting "in action" Hanomag crew and a pair of US 82nd Airborne.
The 82nd Airborne figures are sculpted by Dmitry Shevtsov and available in a set:

3633 - Sergeant and radio operator 82st Airborne in battle, WWII

or individually:

3542 - Radio operator 82st Airborne in battle, WWII

3543 - Sergeant 82st Airborne in battle, WWII

However, the most exciting new release from SOGA is German halftrack crew, suitable for Hanomag from Dragon or AFV Club in 1/35 scale. These figures are also sculpted by Dmitry Shevtsov and are available in a big set of 5 figures:

SOGA-4 - German Panzergrenadiers in battle, WWII

or individually:

3544 - German machine gunner for Hanomag

3545 - German machine gunner on position

3546 - German Panzergrenadier 1

3547 - German Panzergrenadier 2

3548 - German Panzergrenadier 3

3549 - German Feldwebel Panzergrenadier

Jason~ Now that would work! 44 Dot pea..I'm definitely down with that. I think to satisfy my late-War Western Front itch I'd have to chop some legs off at the jackboot line, add some milliput then spare ankle boots w/ gaiters from the Dragon spare box. This may sound like the thoughts of a lunatic yet I've done it so many times I've got it down to a perfected science by now lol. So many early-war figs made Normandy ready! Cheers man.

Me too! Warriors made a pair of Germans leaping from the side of a halftrack which would pair up great with this set.

Nice to see this set. I read in my copy of Panzertracks that the recommended doctrine for track mounted panzergrenadiers in the attack was to stay mounted for maximum shock effect during the initial attack. Then, dismount to do the final mop-up on the objective. So this is a very accurate set of figgies and really nice to see the grenades being featured! J

How did they ever fit a dozen guys in there? Strap 'em on the outside like baggage?

Nate, all good mate as I'm the same, prefer late war too. And yes like you I modify heavily too as i agree there are more jackboots out there..! Hopefully SOGA will give us a late war set soon..... as Biggles2 reminded me of the Warriors set we can only pray to the model gods for some more dynamic figs...Take care mate.

Don't give up on the marching boots too soon guys. There is a famous pic of about a platoons' worth of guys from the 12th SS Pioneer Bn surrendering in june44 in Normandy and almost every guy wore the boots! J

@ Biggles 2, apparently the German halftracks were like the Marine AAVs -- always room for one more, just don't anybody breathe or expect to be comfortable in any way.

Dear Friends We certainly think about the idea of continuing with various Pantsergrenaders. Every week in my head are born new plans. There are ideas and 1944 and DAK until closest plans with the idea of a very interesting photo. This will be set at 5-6 figures who received code word "Power naps of Pantsergrenadier in the war."
