An update in from Takom has the box art for the upcoming 42cm siege gun and a potential delivery date.
Takom has updated Armorama with the box art for the Skoda 42cm M.1917 heavy siege howitzer. This kit will include the Erich von Manstein figure and photo-etched parts. Takom also hinted that the new siege gun should be released at the end of March.

So if the kit rotates, does that mean we might get a base similar to what's on the box art?

Their Skoda 305mm howitzer rotates, so I suspect this one will have a rotating base.
