New from Tank Workshop are soft doors to help keep the crew and passengers in a German halftrack.
Tank Workshop has announced a new accessory for the German Sd.Kfz.7 halftrack. There are three sets of soft canvas doors, one with closed doors, one with open doors, and one set with a combination of open and closed. The sets are designed to fit the Dragon kit. These look to be the perfect accessory to add some extra details to your halftrack build.

TWS2068 Sd.Kfz.7 Closed Canvas Doors
TWS2069 Sd.Kfz.7 Open Canvas Doors
TWS2070 Sd.Kfz.7 Mixed Canvas Doors

Armorama would like to thank Tank Workshop for the update.

I think I hear the townspeople assembling, with pitchforks and torches!

"Do these weigh the same as a duck?"... For anyone who's really not into scratch-building but wants to snaz-up their Sd.Kfz.7 a bit, these are actually pretty cool!

Gee...last time I made a criticism, not even as blatant as this, I got burned at the stake!! [/quote] I'm not sure what you mean by blatant. It's not like I was throwing out a bunch of trash talk--I stated an opinion and a justification for it. I don't believe I was rude or untruthful, but I would have thought that if a company were going to enjoy the free advertising they would have to be accepting of both positive feedback and negative. I'm all about focusing on the positive when commenting on peoples' work, but I don't see why a profit-seeking enterprise should be immune from critique. If there is a rule that prohibits honest opinions about new products then I haven't seen it, and I apologize. If not, then I stand by my observation that I think there are more cost-efficient options for decent looking canvas doors.

What Big is probably means by "burned at the stake" is "having an erroneous statement publicly corrected". In our thin-skinned World all slights must be magnified beyond reasonableness, you see, otherwise one might look immature protesting them. In the previous case the initial complaint was that the resin part was too expensive because it could be reproduced from scratch much more cheaply. While it was repeatedly pointed out that that this was incorrect, some simply could not wrap their heads around the idea that a model of an apple might cost more than a model of an orange. Instead, they kept insisting that the model apple was overpriced at $80 because you could get an model orange for $5. KL

I like them, agreed if your not into scratch building then its a good option. I like the inconsistency, chances are (in real life) they will be installed different, stored different, tripped over - all adding to different looks among them. - John

I really was not looking to offend anyone. I simply thought they seemed rather rough around the edges for what one would expect to pay for AM resin upgrades. For many the money spent is worth the time saved, and I don't begrudge them that. For me, it looked like something that could be done DIY, which is both cheaper and (IMHO) more interesting. I do note that based on the posts I seem to be alone in that opinion (which is not a first), so perhaps we can just skip over my comment and move on to something more fun.

In my case (not AFV Club's fascines) I dared to suggest that the product in question would be useful for someone unable to scratch build their own. Then I was accused (derisively) of having "Razzle-Dazzle" modeling skills, and that I should think about what I say, etc...etc...blah...blah...blah. Short of swearing and making unsubstantiated claims I thought, since this a forum, anyone had a right to opinions and comments.
