Takom has come clean on the images that they released a couple of weeks ago reference the Chieftain. So what is the big surprise as we all could see it was a Chieftain well the answer is that it is a Chieftain Mk? Read the answer inside.

Takom has released a model of the Chieftain that can be a Mk 5, 10 or 11 and so you will need three kits not one, Smooth move Takom. I am sure you will all be delighted to find out you are getting three Chieftains to build. Takom promise this will be out at the end of July 2015. I guess I know what will be done during the Summer Holiday.

I don't do much armour but I have been waiting for a decent Chieftain for a long time, so I'll add a MK.5 and 11 to the stash when they come out. No interest in the Berlin scheme for me. Now I need to find time to build them.

All three variants already on preorder at MBK for 49.50Euros and expected arrival day in the mid-end of September. Not bad!

Hobby link J has put all 3 kits up for pre-order each for about ¥7500 or $59.99, but expensive with delivery on top but just about worth it for a Chieftain.
