Julie Ludman of Model Miniature and distributor of Tiger Model in Europe, has sent Armorama news of four New Tiger model Kits that they have on Pre-Order now. One of these is the AMX-30 BRENUS, look inside for the other three post World War Two offerings.
The four models on pre-order are;
PANHARD VBL 12.7mm M2
AMX-10 SEPAR
AMX-30 Brenus
Nagmachon with Slat Armor

All four of these offerings are 1/35th scale kits and listed for expected delivery in Late December. I can see some members spending their Christmas money early in 2016.

I'm surprised no-one has yet commented on what is something new in the AMX-30 kit. Although I've seen Orange Hobby and Brach Model cast metal barrels/metal tubes within a resin piece (i.e a resin fume extractor cast around a turned metal barrel), I've never seen any of the plastic model companies have a turned metal barrel molded as part of a plastic sprue. A unique way of avoiding the seam in the barrel shroud, I assume. FYI - sprue pictures for this kit have been shown for a while.

It's just great to see more French modern stuff coming up! For your information, this is just one of the two VBL 12.7 MG armed variants. Hopefully the other will be released as well. The Nagmachon is a great addition to their range too. I love these guys at Tiger Model

My purchase arrived today, this looks like a well designed kit. The metal barrel has the fume extractor moulded around it. The tracks are individual link with separately moulded links for the sprocket and idler. There is a brass barrel for the 20mmand a metal tow rope. Initial impressions are on opening the box and looking at the instructions is that it's a Tamiya kit. The really interesting bit is that the moulding date indicates that this was mastered in 2014

Even the directions looks similar to Tamiya's

But none of the text reads like it.....not even close. It is quite comical to read.

The inside of the Nagmachon tub also has some grooves and holes, and there are also some unused parts.. so we might be seeing another variant with interior detail in the future.. fingers crossed Hisham
