Italeri has announced for December an upgrade of its Kfz. 15 Funkwagen kit.
The Kfz 15, built by Horch, was developed to perform signals corps duties. It was equipped with radio and transmission systems to act as command and communication mobile post.
The original kit has been upgraded now with new moulds, although it has not been specified what was changed.
It comes with decals for 2 vehicles, Panzer Regiment Hermann Göring in Italy1943 and 21 Panzer Division DAK in North Afrika 1942. Noteworthy, according to the colour profile and decal sheet, the DAK emblem is censored (the swastika has been covered with a solid diamond).
