Michael from Customscale informed us on his new conversion kit in 1/35 scale... an up-armored Sd.Kfz. with some extra firepower.

35052 -Sd.Kfz.6 Gepanzerter Feldumbau with 2cm Gebirgsflak 38

This resin conversion is designed for Trumpeter 05530 kit.

At least two SdKfz 6 have been converted to fully armoured vehicles in the beginning of 1944. Proven by corresponding pictures they also have been equipped with the 2cm Gebirgsflak 38 and used in the Jaila mountains which are located in the Crimean region.

Now, the first conversion kits are available by Customscale in order to build these unique and interesting German halftracks. One kit enables the conversion of Trumpeter´s SdKfz 6 to the fully armoured version, and also available is a full conversion set which also includes the 2cm gun which features a metal barrel within the kit.
