Special Hobby have sent us details of the latest resin figures and accessories released under their CMK banner. There are new 1:35 Škoda P-II wheels, six new Wehrmacht figures and ammunition sets in 1:48 and a group of 1:72 tank-riding Soviet infantry.
3139 - Škoda P-II „Turtle“ – 1/35 Austrian Police version conversion set for Tacom kit
This set contains detailed casts of the air-chamber wheels and the Schwarzlose M.07/12 machineguns. These parts allow you to convert the Škoda P-II into the verion that was used by the Vienna police and later by the German order police. The police armoured vehicles were used in the heavy fights during the suppression of the leftist coup in February 1934 and during the nazi coup in June of the same year. After the Austrian annexation the Škoda P-II were handed to the German order police and served in Vienna, in 1944 they were deployed in Croatia.

F72 288 - Soviet Tank Desant Troops WW II (4 figures), 1/72 scale for a T-34 and another tanks
The first of two sets that deal with Soviet submachine-equipped tank desant soldier figures riding atop a tank hull. The figures´ arms and heads are cast as separate pieces.The second one of the two tank desant infantry sets. One of the soldiers stands holding a tank turret handle, the other one sits atop the tank hull. The arms and heads are separate pieces.

Good grief....those figures look terrible. With so many excellent sculpts available from manufacturers like Alpine, Evolution, Stalingrad, and many more they really need to up their game. These look half finished diy modeller efforts from chopping up plastic figures rather than something from a long standing company. Detail is clumsy, half finished and poorly executed.

Agreed. Some of CMKs offerings were OK, but these indeed feel like half finished sculpts. Mario

I agree too, they look like they've been primed with a whole can each.

You have to take scale into account, as they look much bigger on those pics... They are 1/48 and the worse looking are 1/72 but much blown up! They have done many mediocre figures, but I bought recently three Hetzer crew figures from CMK in 1/35 and they're as good as the best around.
